BGSW Signs MoU with Mindgrove to Advance RISC-V SoC Development

BGSW has signed an MoU with Mindgrove Technologies, a Chennai-based fabless semiconductor company.

The collaboration will enable Mindgrove to design and develop System-on-Chip (SoC) solutions for targeted applications with guidance and support from BGSW. This includes architecture, design, and verification of chips, as well as embedded software and system reference design for their compilers, software tools and other developmental tools that BGSW is developing for the RISC-V instruction set architecture.

BGSW has signed an MoU with Minespider, a leader in supply chain traceability solutions that ensure compliance, transparency, and sustainability through Digital Product Passports (DPPs) and Digital Battery Passports (DBPs).

With upcoming regulations in the EU and other global regions, battery companies are required to maintain a digital record system (Battery Passport) that enables seamless transfer of key information between parties. This collaboration aims to co-create and explore market opportunities in Battery Passport solutions (web application, mobile application, and backend Solutions) and related engineering solutions worldwide.

BGSW has partnered with Cloudworx, the world's first browser-based digital twin platform, offering product, process, and system twins by combining 3D, IoT, and AI on their patented web platform. Cloudworx is addressing barriers to digital twin adoption by eliminating traditional complexity, cost, and technical dependencies that have limited adoption.

Through this partnership, BGSW and Cloudworx are exploring applications and market opportunities at the intersection of BGSW’s assets and capabilities (in Industry 4.0, healthcare, and infrastructure domains) and Cloudworx’s digital twin platforms and modelling capabilities.

Quarkifi's journey with Bosch began in the 2021 DNA program, where they refined their products and secured the top spot in their cohort. This success led to collaborations with Bosch's Phantom team on intelligent power management and sensor integration solutions, as well as a current work order on AI-powered business process automation.

Automating IoT Testing with Doppelio’s Digital Twins

Doppelio is an IoT Test automation platform that graduated from the DNA 2020 cohort. It enables testing of IoT applications across the edge and cloud, for non-physical aspects of the system through virtualization of IoT devices like connected vehicles, connected buildings, and connected equipment as “doppels” (data twins), and simulates unlimited data scenarios at scale.

Bosch India leveraged Doppelio for its connected mobility solutions for vehicles, off highway machines, and engines for customers across the regions. Doppelio approached Bosch with a unique test-driven development expertise where real connected vehicle and environment could be modelled to improve the coverage, execution time, and repeatability of tests.

Accelerating EMI Testing with SimYog

BGSW invested in and acquired a substantial stake in SimYog, a startup that graduated from one of the DNA cohorts.

SimYog specializes in deep tech. The startup helps reduce the time taken to develop electronic controllers used in cars and trucks. Its software solution allows hardware developers to test an electronic components’ resistance to electromagnetic interference (EMI) in the design stage. Typically, auto component makers develop multiple prototypes and test for EMI before mass production.

Digitizing Auto Parts through Autozilla

BGSW picked up a 26 percent stake in Autozilla Solutions, a DNA cohort startup that operates a B2B e-commerce marketplace for buying and selling auto parts. This was part of Bosch’s strategy to establish effective digital ecosystem around vehicle workshops. Autozilla develops e-commerce solutions, and connects manufacturers and sellers to simplify the process of auto-part discovery and purchase.
